Ex-P

Are you, or your company still running an old Windows XP computer? Or maybe several? Well, you're asking for trouble my friend. The XP Operating System is no longer supported and chances are really, really high that the machine it is running on will have catastrophic hardware failure soon, very soon.

And, as manufacturers issue updates to various pieces of software, or their hardware drivers, they are no longer required to make them compatible with your old XP. And an update that is not compatible with your operating system can cause your computer to lock up, or crash.

But, I am sure that most of you read all of the fine print and compatibility information before you install an update, right? Wait, wait! You don't? Oh my! Well, I guess we do have a problem then, don't we?

The time has come to kick that old XP computer to the curb, and buy a new one. You're gonna do it now, or do it later. And trust me, it is a whole lot easier to make the transition before your old computer crashes or dies completely! Because, chances are, the hardware in that old computer is 8 to 12 years old, and ready to call it quits any time now. It is time for that old XP computer to become your Ex-P computer.

And, NO, it is NOT worth upgrading it to the latest operating system! By the time you pay for the operating system upgrade itself, a faster processor, more memory, a bigger hard drive, and maybe a new motherboard, you should just get a new system.

And remember to shop local first! A locally made computer will most likely gain you higher quality components, better service, and a better overall experience in the long run. And, no dude, buying a new Hew-Delly computer by mail, or from that Best Buying Mart place, is NOT shopping local. When we truly shop locally, it directly supports our very own local economy. You can make a difference!
